Since the harvest of 1990, this is the first vintage to unite such a great maturity in the grapes. When the yield was assessed, the must had perfectly balanced polyphenols. The wines are very strongly coloured, almost opaque. The first impression gained of the fragrance is reminiscent of sugared plums, blackberry jam spices. The high proportion of Cabernet Franc over 50 % brings with it minty tannins full of freshness, elegance and complexity. The wines are silky and generous and are already very pleasurable to taste. The finish is harmonious, rich and full bodied, lasting over several long minutes, a promise that this vintage has genuine keeping ageability. Age until 2025
