The grapes for the 2005 Altozano Verdejo are grown in the Rueda region where this varietal thrives. The climate is perfect for developing fresh, aromatic, full bodied wines. The Verdejo is fermented in tank for 18 21 days at 18 degrees C and blended with 5% Sauvignon Blanc prior to bottling. Fresh and crisp with delicate floral aromas and gooseberry and melon fruit flavours. Ideal with all types of seafood, shellfish and white meats.
