It was in 1803 that Philippe Edouard Artzner opened a shop seling foie gras in Strasbourg. His son Edouard had the idea of putting foie gras in terrine dishes in 1850. Already a favourite supplier of royal courts during the last century, Edouard Artzner has since then earned a reputation for quality, and has become one of the jewels in the crown of French gastronomy. This classic Foie gras is available as a bloc in three sizes a fine gift for gastronomes and connoisseurs.
