We only sell the Tuber Malanosporum variety of black winter truffles The skin of the melanosporum is comprised of a striking mosaic of interlocking polygons. The flesh ranges from chocolate to nearly black with delicate white veining. The aroma and flavour are intoxicating and uniquely melanosporum. Our melanosporum truffles are European specifically from the major truffle producing regions of Provence, southwest France and northern Spain.
